The two ART GP drivers were on the front row of the KF2 final in the WSK Euro Series at Val d’Argenton, the final race on Sunday run in the dry. The karts were very slow up to the starting line, which didn’t prevent a dramatic crash. Cucco and Fuoco started at the back and Blom and Fioravanti didn’t start.

Leclerc led the race ahead of Giovinazzi, Barnicoat and Tiene. Verstappen went off at high speed on the track next to the many spectators. Tiene passed Barnicoat at Turn 4, Leclerc was overtaken by three drivers: Tiene, Giovinazzi and Barnicoat. Graham was right behind the Monaco driver. Leclerc closed back up to Barnicoat, but was overtaken by Camponeschi for 3rd place. The Italian had come up from 9th place and was very fast.

Camponeschi had beaten Giovinazzi thoroughly. Leclerc returned to fourth. Tiene led solidly in mid-race, 1.3” ahead of Camponeschi. Tom Joyner was also back in business in sixth position. Anthoine Hubert, the only French driver in race, returned to the top 10 ahead of Graham. With the help of his fresher tires, Joyner, after starting 32nd, took 4th position from Leclerc. The LH driver was with Giovinazzi two laps from the end.

Joyner took 3rd, but Giovinazzi repassed and closed the doors, shutters and curtains on the last lap which discouraged Joyner. Leclerc also saw an opportunity at the last minute and took fourth, missing the podium by only 9/100.
