Thanks to a flawless performance by young Spanish driver Alex Palou at Varennes (France), CRG is now at the top of the European KF3 Championship standings before the final round to be held in England in July. Palou capitalised on the performances of his CRG chassis propelled by a BMB engine prepared KVS to win over a strong international group of more than 100 drivers.

Already very fast in timed qualifying with his second fastest time, Alex raised the pace in the heats and won 3 out of 6 races, despite his disadvantage on the first bend due to his starting from the inner line. He was indeed deprived of the pole position in Race 1 after a collision in the first heat.

4th on the grid, he was hampered again on the first bend, but regained his position at the end of the race, after moving up 4 places in a hard-fought battle. He concluded Race 2 with a great, well-deserved victory after a fierce battle up to the finish line.
