Lorandi wins a splendid pre-final B

The Russian driver Nikita Sitnikov (Tony Kart / BMB) retained the advantage of his pole position in the early laps of the KF3 pre B, tailgating Alessio Lorandi and Alessio Piccini (Kosmic / Vortex) following the start without problem. The Spaniard Alex Palou (CRG / BMB) started from the fourth row before dropping to 12th on the third lap. Then Connor Jupp (Intrepid / TM) took over fourth ahead of Niko Kari (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Dan Ticktum (Zanardi / Parilla).

Shortly before mid-race, Piccini seized the lead during an intense struggle in the leading group. Max Defourny (PCR / Parilla) put in a superb performance in eighth position. Palou took places quickly. The ranking was far from being fixed. Sitnikov controlled the race with Jupp and Lorandi in his wake. Piccini moved up to fourth from Marijn Kremers (PCR / Parilla). Then Jupp took the lead ahead of Lorandi and Sitnikov. Lorandi attacked Jupp on the last lap and crossed the line victorious, while his pursuers tore each other apart madly and Piccini took second ahead of Ticktum, Kari, Sitnikov, Kremers, Jupp then Defourny who started 21st!
