The second round of the WSK Master Series at Sarno saw an increase in participants by about 10%, or 17 drivers in KF2: Charles Leclerc (ART GP / Parilla), Anthoine Hubert (Formula K / TM ), Libor Toman (Praga / Parilla), Flavio Camponeschi (Tony Kart / Vortex), Canadian Philipp Orcic (Zanardi / Parilla) and the team members Sean GP, Antonio Giovinazzi (Tony Kart / TM), Sami Luka, the champion Europe (FA Kart / TM), Nikolaj Moller-Madsen and Sean Gelael, both in Tony Kart / TM, have joined the competition in Naples.

KZ1: Pex on pole again

Jorrit Pex (CRG / TM) took his second pole position of the season, but his pursuers were not very far from his 1’03”045: Patrik Hajek (Praga / TM) was 2nd by 5.1 hundredths, and Yannick De Brabander (Formula K / TM) by 6/100 in third. Kozlinski (PCR / TM) was not displeased with his fourth after a strange mishap: in a rare occurrence, he was hit by Giambo (CRG / Maxter) early on, which forced him to start again to get a good time. Fortunately the kart hadn’t really suffered in the collision, although it was violent enough.

Midrla top of KZ2

In a great performance for the Czech team Joka, Jan Midrla (Birel / TM) was fastest by 1.4 tenths, then the Italian Riccardo Negro (DR / TM) was followed by Leonardo Fuoco (BRM / Maxter). In sixth position, Loris Spinelli (Forlula K / TM) was ahead of championship leader Marco Zanchetta (Energy / TM). Starting from pole at La Conca, Charly Bizalion (Lenzo / TM) finished in 13th place.

Tiene, the fastest in KF2

Tailgating Dennis Olsen (Energy / TM), Felice Tiene and his CRG / BMB took pole following his victory in KF2 at La Conca. Max Verstappen (Intrepid / TM) was for now behind by 0.152 seconds. Speedy (Tony Kart / Vortex) took fourth place ahead of Marco Maestranzi (PCR / Parilla) and Tom Joyner (LH / BMB).

Best time for Lorandi in KF3

The young driver Alessio Lorandi from Baby Race (Tony Kart / Vortex) was a whopping 1.5 tenth ahead of drivers such as George Russell (Intrepid / TM) and Callum Ilott (Zanardi / Parilla), while Alex Palou (CRG / BMB) followed by 2/10. Stroll was 10th, Nilsson 15th, Ferrucci 18th, Ticktum 22nd, Boccolacci, unhappy with his engine, 23rd, Darras 28th, Naud 40th.

Mini 60: Pull ahead of Lorandi

Briton James Pull (Top Kart / LKE), the closest rival to Leonardo Lorandi (Tony Kart / LKE), managed to deprive him of pole on the long track of Sarno, a good tenth ahead. The duel will still be on the agenda for the weekend between the two young drivers.
