Performances shown by Patrik Hajek and Bas Lammers in KZ1 at La Conca during the WSK Master Series round highlighted the strong potential of Praga chassis. Thanks to hard work done by the Praga Kart team since the beginning of the year, under Alessandro Manetti’ lead, these two drivers made important progress and reached the top 5 of the most challenging class.

Hajek started his battle on Saturday, when he first fought for a third place in this international competition and then was forced to withdraw from the race due to an exhaust problem. Taking advantage of significant improvements in his kart set-up, Lammers got back into the dance on Sunday and reached the top 5 by setting one of the fastest times.

Martin Doubek also showed an excellent burst of speed in KZ2. A series of race mishaps, in particular a withdrawal and two penalties, stopped him from getting the results his performance deserved. In any case, the important thing is that on the second meeting of the season, Praga chassis have already demonstrated qualities that bode well for the rest of the season.

We are still in a discovery and development phase of our chassis“, Patrik Hajek explained. “Development work is progressing well and motivates us to continue in this direction. Our goal is not to be good, but to be best. We are going to devote all our efforts to that end“. Next meeting will be held on the circuit of Sarno, for the second round of the WSK Master Series.
