A new PCR Advance chassis and a new lead driver, 2009 World Champion Arnaud Kozlinski: these – in addition to excellent collaboration with TM – were the elements that brought the Dutch team AVG Racing back in the group of the leaders in international karting. AVG Racing, which is PCR official team in the KZ classes, has definitely started the 2012 season with a bang!

Thanks to the numerous tests performed in different conditions since the start of the year, the AVG Racing Team was able to compete at the Winter Cup 2012 with full confidence. Kozlinski did a huge job both before and during the race to get his PCR/TM to the front, pulling his team mates Dylan Davies and Sinan Van Der Raad along in his wake.

Koko added the finishing touches to the set-up of his kart at the start of the meeting and fought hard to reach the leaders and conclude the final race on the second step of the podium. Anton Van Grunsven, AVG Racing team manager, as well as PCR and TM representatives were evidently satisfied.

Furthermore, Kozlinski’s team mates, though more used to the level of KZ2 drivers than to the line-up of the best drivers in karting found at the Winter Cup, also showed some excellent performance: Davies finished 18th and Van Der Raad 24th after bravely fighting against a group of strong rivals on their first race in 125cc gearbox, at the great Italian classic.
