KF2 repechage dominated by Graham and Vivacqua

The South Garda Karting track was still dry for the KF2 repechage for the Winter Cup. 18th at the start, Niklas Tiihonen went violently right, but started without crashing. Awesome! Alberto Di Folco (Intrepid / TM) kept the lead for a long time, but had to give way at the end of the race and finished 4th. The Zanardi / Parilla pair of Matthew Graham and Thiago Vivacqua took the first two places while Andreas Hansen (Maranello / Maranello) came back brilliantly from 18th to 3rd place. Dave Blom (Formula K / TM) barely qualified after a gain of eight places behind Stefano Dell’Aquila (PCR / Parilla).

Valentin Moineault (Tony Kart / Vortex), in 13th had originally made the most of the work in overtaking Paolo Ippolito (Kosmic / Vortex) to gain the all important 6th place, but he spun and lost all the benefit of his great race. He finished 14th behind teammate Remy Deguffroy.
