Hansson, the most consistent in KF3

A clear hierarchy has not yet emerged in KF3, but the Swede Robin Hansson (Tony Kart / Vortex) tops the ranking at the end of the qualifying heats of the 2012 Winter Cup. Like him, in second, Connor Jupp (Energy / TM) won three times as did Alessio Lorandi (Tony Kart / Vortex), also 3 times a winner, lost out by retiring and is only 10th. But above all, somr very good drivers couldn’t get directly into the final.

George Russell (Intrepid / TM) is fifth and Callum Illot (Zanardi / Parilla) 8th stand out defending the Union Jack alongside Jupp, while the French have Gabi Aubry (Birel / TM) in 15th after a good performance, Dorian Guldenfels (Sodi / Parilla), a surprise 18th, Paolo Besancenez (Sodi / Parilla) 22nd and Valentin Naud (Formula K / TM) 26th behind the driver of Lonato, Luca Corberi (Kosmic / Vortex).

Alex Palou, Dorian Boccolacci, Lance Stroll, Arthur Lehouck (the pole sitter), Alessio Piccini, Egor Stupenkov, Felix Nilsson and Robert Schwarzmann will be some of the eager competitors in the repechage on Sunday morning.
