The first day of Bercy Kart Masters ERDF produced quite large differences in performance between the drivers, however talented. When this happens, it is not uncommon for the mechanics to be under suspicion, especially when the single-design equipment is supplied by the organizers of the race. With the electronically controlled electric motors, the idea of favouritism sometimes appears in discussions.

However, on Sunday morning, the performances were more even in both in the Juniors and Stars. After thorough investigation, we discovered that chassis set plays a key role and that all of the drivers had not worked in the same direction. Apparently, one must set the seat rather high, increase the tyre pressure to cause more sliding and paradoxically go faster. Some had discovered the principle on Saturday, protecting their set-up as much as possible.

The secret did not last long: on Sunday morning, everything was different … The order may well be seriously changed and the races may be more competitive than the day before. Good news.
