Hajek dominates in KZ1, Zanchetta confirms in KZ2. The new leader of KZ1 at Ortona is undoubtedly the Czech driver Patrick Hajek (Tony Kart-Vortex-Dunlop), who won all three heats against the most formidable competitors in the category . Neither the French driver Armand Convers (Kosmic-Vortex-Dunlop), second in the first heat, nor the Dutch driver Bas Lammers (Intrepid-TM-Dunlop), who took the place of honor in the other two races, were unable to stop his victorious march. The warning was issued: in the prefinal Hajek will start from pole position tomorrow, with Lammers at his side on the front row. Behind them, the two Italians Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart-Vortex-Dunlop) and Roberto Toninelli (Lenzo- TM-Dunlop) will be on the second row, while in third, there is the brilliant Marco Zanchetta (CKR-TM-Dunlop), the best in KZ2.

Full house in KF2 for Di Folco. The Roman Alberto Di Folco (Tony Kart-TM-Vega) managed the best possible score, faultlessly winning all three races. He was followed on the road to success by the Russian Egor Orudzhev (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega), winner of a race, then the two revelations of Ortona: Andrew Tang of Singapore (Kosmic-TM-Vega) and Antonio Fuoco (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega), who was making a highly acclaimed debut in the category. On Sunday, it will be Di Folco on pole position in the prefinal flanked by Orudzhev. On the second row, we’ll see Tang and the Norwegian Dennis Olsen (Energy-TM-Vega), while the winner of the WSK Euro Series, Stefano Cucco (Birel-Parilla-Vega), is on the third row next to Fuoco.

Karpov took control in KF3. Another Russian, after the pole yesterday was taken by Vasily Romanov (Energy-TM-Vega), moved to the front at Ortona: Kirill Karpov’s (Tony Kart-BMB-Vega ), took two wins in the heats to reach the top spot for the start of the pre-final tomorrow. Alessio Lorandi (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega), who was also victorious twice, shares the first row with Karpov. We must not forget two other serious competitors, the Dane Nicklas Nielsen (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega) and Sweden’s Robin Hansson (Energy-TM-Vega), each the winner of a race. The latter, following a problem in another heat, lost a good position, leaving the second row to Romanov and Nielsen.

Travisanutto shines in 60 Mini. Lorenzo Travisanutto (Tony Kart-Parilla), with three wins in the heats, captured the top spot from the Romanian Dionysios Marcu (Top Kart-LKE) who won a race. Both drivers will start on pole in their respective pre-finals scheduled for Sunday morning. Alessandro Stura (Top Kart-Parilla), has meanwhile won two races, while the other winners were Eliseo Martinez Meroño (CRG-Parilla), Berkay Besler (Top Kart-LKE) and Ayancan Guven (Top Kart-Parilla ), both from Turkey and Russia’s Alexander Vartanyan (Tony Kart-LKE).
