Two Energy / TM drivers, Connor Jupp and Alexander Lindberg, were on the front row for the prefinal in KF3 at Lonato for the European Final of the 2011 Bridgestone Cup. The weather was still beautiful on the South Garda Karting circuit. Jupp started in the lead, followed by Kim Oomen (Zanardi / Parilla) from Lindberg and Robin Hansson (Energy / TM), who made a crazy start from 12th place. The latter attacked Oomen and Jupp, he was the leader before the end of the second lap! Lindberg made contact and dropped a few places. Luca Corberi (Tony Kart / Vortex) was fourth but under threat from Thiago Vivacqua (Energy / TM).

Hansson was first, Oomen second, followed by an animated group led by Jupp ahead of Lindberg, Corberi and Alex Weckstrom (Kosmic / Vortex). After the draft, the French driver Julien Darras (Intrepid / TM) was already back to 16th. Jupp was trying to return to second ahead of Oomen. Stan Pex (Zanardi / Parilla) was inside the top 10 from 20th place on the grid. The leaders regrouped and Oomen was attacked by Jupp then Vivacqua. It was now Corberi that attacked. Jupp was threatening to the leader, Hansson. The German Hannes Janke (Zanardi / Parilla) had started 23rd, Pex followed in 11th place.

Jupp took the lead in the last two laps, second was Hansson, Vivacqua third, Corberi fourth, Oomen fifth.
