De Conto ahead of Federer in the Prefinal

A duel was expected between Fabian Federer (CRG / TM) and Paolo De Conto (Energy / TM) at the start of the Prefinal in KZ2 at the European Final of the 2011 Bridgestone Cup. The two drivers started neck and neck, De Conto took the advantage, but Marco Zanchetta (CKR / TM) was inserted immediately into second position ahead of Federer. While De Conto got away Massimo Dante (CKR / TM) passed a third time. But Federer soon recovered his second place, followed by Jorrit Pex (CRG / Maxter) and Zanchetta fighting, and then Jan Midrla (Birel / TM), Dante and Yuri Lucati (VSK / TM) on the chassis manufacturedby CRG in the colors of Kali Kart. Federer returned to attack the leader.

The CRG driver arrives back in contact with the Energy driver, while the positions didn’t change in the chasing pack, but they were very close behind Pex who was well separated in 3rd position. Federer followed the pace of the leader without being able to worry. Lucati attacked Dante, but he spun and lost the advantage of his maneuver and two places.

De Conto won ahead of Federer, Pex, Zanchetta, Midrla, Dante, Alexandre Arrue (Righetti / TM) finished a fine seventh place, followed by Henri Kokko (Ninar / TM) and Lucati.
