Leclerc sets the pace

It was a calm start at the front in the KF3 Prefinal, and Speedy (Tony Kart / Vortex) retained the lead without any problems, Max Verstappen (CRG / Maxter) was placed nicely in third place behind Charles Leclerc (Intrepid / TM).

The two leaders gained a significant lead on the first lap. Drivers crashed on the first right, George Russell and Dorian Boccolacci remained in the runoff. Esteban Ocon (FA Kart / Vortex) was cleverly inserted in 4th from Callan O’Keeffe (FA Kart / Vortex) and Scott Harrison (Intrepid / TM). Speedy Leclerc attack on the second lap and took the lead.

On lap 5, the top 5 were detached from the rest of the pack, but not very close to each other either. Leclerc took off and the four competitors closed, allowing Verstappen to go to second from Speedy. Ocon made a good attack on Speedy under braking with two laps to go, followed later by O’Keeffe. Speedy took back 4th place on the last lap.

It was a clear victory for the Monegasque Charles Leclerc from Max Verstappen and Esteban Ocon. Speedy (Antonio Fuoco) was fourth, fifth was Callan O’Keeffe.
