Nicolai Sylvest (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Harrison Scott (Intrepid / TM) were on the front row of the Prefinal in KF3 at the WSK Series Euro at Zuera, but Max Verstappen (CRG / Parilla), the championship leader, was third. The weather is very hot in the Spanish sun.

Max Verstappen took the lead but the slow process was initiated on the first lap. Two karts had rolled at the bottom of the track. The race director then had to interrupt the race with a red flag to calm things down and restore order on the grid. Olsen had lost all chances by going off at the same place.

There was a restart on lap 6. It was a good battle between Verstappen and Nielsen, Ocon was third but lost 2 places on the outside of the hairpin. Boccolacci had already returned to 9th! Third place was contested by Sylvest and O’Keeffe. The two leaders got away, Sylvest got rid of O’Keeffe, with Matthew Graham and further back Ocon watching closely.

Taking advantage of the duel for the lead Sylvest closed up. He was soon second behind Verstappen and the leader. But Max was trying everything on the last lap and won the unusual race from Nielsen and Sylvest. O’Keeffe finished fourth, fifth was Graham, Boccolacci 6th and Ocon 7th.
