It was a very tight battle between the three Qualifying sessions in the KF2 European Championship at Zuera: the different leaders are in the top 3 places overall, Gianmarco Ercoli (Tony Kart / Vortex) setting the pole position with 1.00.963 in front of Tanart Sathienthirakul (Tony Kart / TM) and Pascal Belmaaziz (DR / Parilla).
Antonio Giovinazzi (PCR / Parilla) follows Sathienthirakul in the first session where Luka (Energy / TM) was third, John Filippi (Exprit / Vortex) fourth and Kevin Rossel (RK / BMB) fifth.
In the second group, Adam Andrews (Tony Kart / TM) had long been in first place before Ercoli dislodged him on the last lap. Third was Carlos Gil (Tony Kart / Vortex), fourth Michelle Gatting, quickly acclimated to her Birel / BMB and fifth was Giuliano Maria Niceta (Intrepid / TM). Finally, Argentina’s Pablo Maranzana (Kosmic / Vortex) was close to the French driver Belmaaziz, followed by Juuso-Matti Pajuranta (Ninar / Vortex), Paolo Ippolito (Kosmic / Vortex) and Francesco Abreu (Tony Kart / Vortex).
