Jérémy Iglesias (Intrepid / TM) flew, Beitske Visser (Intrepid / TM) sneaked in front of Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex), followed by Bas Lammers (Intrepid / TM), but in sixth Ardigo fell back before the end of the 1st lap while Lammers was now on Iglesias’ heels and Visser didn’t let up on her two teammates, beating Roberto Toninelli (Lenzo / TM) and Antonio Piccioni (Parolin / TM).

Lammers took second on the 4th lap, while Ardigo was overwhelmed by his team-mate Gary Catt who set the fastest time! Rick Dreezen (Tony Kart / Vortex) in turn began a recovery from 15th place. He was in the top 10 after the halfway point. Jonathan Thonon was no longer in the race, he stopped in the middle of the track.

Ardigo was back on the pace with the fastest lap, Lammers took 2nd place from Visser who now had to look out for the return of Piccioni and Catt. 9th on the track, Davide Fore was penalized and dropped to 26th in the standings.

On lap 13, Lammers successfully attacked his team mate Iglesias and took the lead, but the French driver had not said the last word. Lammers and Iglesias were close, with more of a gap between Visser and Ardigo after taking Catt, now fourth. But Piccioni mixed in the fight for victory and took Iglesias on the last lap to take second place in an exciting race. Visser resisted the world champion for a fifth place finish narrowly on the finish line. Toninelli finished seventh from Convers, Dreezen and Hajek.
