De Conto 1st in the KZ1 Prefinal

De Conto did not wait for his competitors and took off with nearly a second ahead on lap 3. In 5th position, there were strong recoveries for Dreezen and Iglesias, while Lammers entered the top 10 and Thonon closed on his team mate Fore in 12th. For 3rd place there was a group following Dreezen and Iglesias close behind.

On lap 7, Iglesias attacked Dreezen and overtook him for 4th. Ardigo reduced the gap on the leader to about ½ second. Lammers was looking at 7th place from Bressan before he got in the sights of the Parolin / TM of Yannick De Brabander. Convers was directly threatened by Iglesias the overtake was on the 12th of 17 laps. De Conto was capable of dictating the pace to protect against a possible attack from Ardigo. Thonon was now able to raise his game as he set the fastest lap on lap 12. Still 6th, De Brabander could prove dangerous for Dreezen. Thonon took eighth in the wheel tracks of Fore.

The win went to Paolo De Conto, Marco Ardigo was second and third in the end was Jérémy Iglesias from Armand Convers, Rick Dreezen 5th, Yannick De Brabander 6th, Bas Lammers 7th, Jonathan Thonon 8th with the fastest lap on the last lap, which suggests his potential in the final.
