As for KF3, the KF2 group was the first to go on to the track to reveal the pole sitter. Enzo Guibbert (FA Kart / Vortex) was already showing very early in the session, but was awaiting the right conditions to achieve what remains the best time of day, 53”610.
Antonio Giovinazzi (PCR / TM) finally took the advantage on his fellow Italian Damiano Fioravanti (Tony Kart / Vortex) in the last lap, while Giuliano Maria Niceta (Tony Kart / Vortex) took 3rd place. Gerard Barrabeig (Birel / BMB), Luca Osvaldo (DR / Parilla) and Victor Sendin (Tony Kart / Vortex) fell quickly into the action in the second session, John Filippi (exprits / Vortex) was in 1st with a 53”882 in front of Paolo Ippolito (Kosmic / Vortex). Sendin threw all his energy into a perfect final lap, though on his own, and set the best time of the group, 53”749 ahead of Filippi and Ippolito.
Nicola Marcon (Kosmic / Vortex) marked the beginning of the last session with Francisco Abreu (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Adrian Del Rio (Birel / Parilla) on his heels. Gianmarco Ercoli (Tony Kart / Vortex) took the first step with a 55”783, but Abreu took the lead at the very end of the session with a time of 53”678, ahead of Austria’s Thomas Krebs (Birel / BMB) who overtook the second placed Ercoli. Guibbert took pole ahead of Abreu and Krebs, Giovinazzi was 4th, 5th was Sendin and Niceta 6th.
