The WSK Euro Series KF2 competition was savage in the heats in Portimao and there was sone damage to give a surprising intermediate classification. Twice winner, Damiano Fioravanti (Tony Kart / Vortex) took the advantage from Kevin Rossel (RK / BMB) and Francisco Abreu (Tony Kart / Vortex) who were also holding two victories. Nicolaj Moller Madsen and Sami Luka (Energy / TM) in 7th and 9th lost time in the rain, otherwise they would have been serious candidates for pole.

Sam Snell (Intrepid / TM) was consistent in in 8th place. Michelle Gatting (CRG / Maxter) peaked in 13th, Enzo Guibbert (FA Kart / Vortex) was the 1st French driver in 15th, Tanart Sathienthirakul (Tony Kart / Vortex) 17th, Max Klinkby-Silver (Birel / BMB) 23rd. Pascal Belmaaziz (DR / Parilla) was in 32nd and Victor Sendin (Tony Kart / Vortex) was 34th and narrowly saved his qualification with a good final heat in the rain.
