The afternoon started with the KZ heats, starting with Bas Lammers who went out like a bullet for the formation lap. It was later learned that he had a problem with his engine and was hoping to fix it before the start. Armand Convers (Kosmic / Vortex) took advantage of the empty space before him on the grid to make a perfect start ahead of Jonathan Thonon (CRG / Maxter) and Kozlinski (CRG / Maxter), Yannick De Brabander (Parolin / TM) and Ben Hanley (Maranello / Maranello). Thonon quickly took control of the A2 heat, Koko reached and passed Convers. Mirko Torsellini (CRG / Maxter) finished 5th in front of Beitske Visser (Intrepid / TM) and Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / Maxter) in 7th. Immediately the after finish line, Kozlinski rushed back to the pits, suffering a puncture.

Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) took the lead of B2, from Rick Dreezen (Tony Kart / Vortex), Davide Fore (CRG / Maxter) and Jérémy Iglesias (Intrepid / TM). At the back of the grid, Paolo De Conto (Energy / TM) made a mythical start. The drivers were tightly bunched for a long time which was rare to see. Iglesias was highly motivated and attacked and turned Dreezen and Ardigo followed in his path with Fore. De Conto came back very strongly and Gary Carlton (Zanardi / Parilla) followed suit. Ardigo regularly lost places, presumably having difficulty with his tyres. Victory for Iglesias, Fore also at the front then Dreezen and Roberto Toninelli (Lenzo / TM) finished fourth.
