Weber imposes in KZ2 prefinal

Weber imposes in KZ2 prefinal

Morgan Weber (Merlin / TM) made the best start from Mathieu Gaillard (Energy / TM). Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / Maxter) boldly took  Charly Bizalion (Intrepid / TM) at the hairpin by the pylon. Thomas Mich (Birel / TM) quickly captured fourth position. Bizalion was fifth ahead of Italy’s Yuri Lucati (BRM / TM). The top 4 drivers were held in a handkerchief, Lucati overtook, and Mich passed Abbasse for 3rd. Gaillard put pressure on the leader and Weber reacted.

In 6th Bizalion was followed by Pierre Ragues (Sodi / Maxter), Charles Fiault (Sodi / Maxter), Yan Pesce (BRM / TM) and Cedric Goudant (Tony Kart / TM). Lucat took 4th place from Abbasse while Pesce exceeded Ragues. Gaillard came back again to Weber, Abbasse regained his fourth position from Lucati. Gaillard hoped to stay ahead of it all, Abbasse launched an assault on Mich, but nothing helped. Weber won the race ahead of Gaillard, Mich maintained his 3rd place against Abbasse, Lucati wa 5th, 6th was Pesce, 7th Bizalion and 8th Ragues.
