Esteban Ocon was taken at the first corner by  five drivers led by Fran Rueda. Benjamin Gerard (Tony Kart / Vortex) was second ahead of Alex Palou and Paolo Besancenez (Sodi / Parilla). Ocon come back strongly in 4th place while the battle raged on and Gerard took the lead then Palou. Ocon suddenly found himself second behind Palou. Simon Tirman (Tony Kart / Vortex) was faster than teammate Gerard.

Besancenez managed to take Ocon to gain 2nd place. At this time, on lap 5, Dorian Boccolacci (Birel / BMB) had already taken 30 places and was 11th. Tirman stalled, Gerard took over fourth ahead of Valentin Naud (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Valentin Moineault (Sodi / Parilla), also up from the bottom of the grid. There was a fastest lap for Besancenez, currently second and very close to the leader. Ocon could not stay with the two drivers. Boccolacci was now 7th in mid-race.

Fastest on the track was Paolo Besancenez behind Alex Palou, planning an attack nearer the end, to be continued … Moineault attacked Tirman which did little to please him. Last Lap: Besancenez passed under braking near the pylon, held off the reply from Palou and crossed the line first, the first victory in his first Championship final in KF3 in France. There was an explosion of joy in the Sodi team managed by Antonio Rodriguès.

Palou remained second, third was Ocon; Gerard finished 4th, Naud 5th, Tirman 6th, a combined attack by the TKF team. Boccolacci took 7th place.
