Marco Ardigo (Tony / Vortex), Jonathan Thonon (CRG / Maxter), Davide Fore (CRG / Maxter) and the Dutch driver Lammers (Intrepid / TM) took the first two rows of the grid for the KZ final.

Ardigo resisted Thonon, Jérémy Iglesias (Intrepid / TM) was inserted in second. Lammers was delayed in 17th. The “slow” procedure was triggered because of an accident involving Gary Catt, at the end of the long straight. The race resumed on the 6th lap. Iglesias took the lead in his stride. Ardigo attempted to reply, but made contact with Iglesias, both drivers slid and and lost places, more for Iglesias than Ardigo. Fore was in the lead ahead of Rick Dreezen (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Ardigo. Yannick De Brabander (Parolin / TM) was fourth ahead of Ryan Van De Burgt (Maddox / Parilla), Thonon and Iglesias.

Dreezen closed on Fore while Iglesias jumped to 5th, probably a bit upset by the incident. Dreezen took the lead. Lammers was back to 7th with Thonon, now followed by Kozlinski (CRG / Maxter) and Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / Maxter). Ardigo took over second from Fore, Koko passed Thonon. Iglesias followed De Brabander, in 4th. Ardigo returned to his teammate Dreezen while Fore was isolated in 3rd.

On the last lap Dreezen closed the door and won the race ahead of Ardigo and Fore. Iglesias was 4th, Van De Burgt 5th, 6th De Brabander, Kozlinski 7th, 8th Lammers, Abbasse 9th.
