The WSK has started a new programme for KZ1 and KZ2 with 2 rounds plus finals on both Saturday and Sunday. The start of the first heat Sunday was delayed by the necessary cleaning of the track, as the warm-ups left mud on the track just after the line, after the many crashes on Sunday morning. However the weather was beautiful, even if the forecast is for possible rain in the afternoon.

The drivers started in the finishing order of Saturday night’s final 1. Paolo De Conto (Energy / TM) led from Rick Dreezen (Tony Kart / Vortex), Gary Catt (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Tony Lavanant who started very well. Beitske Visser (Intrepid / TM) was 10th. Lavanant controlled Jesper Wernersson (Tony Kart / Vortex), but was trapped by the dirty track. De Conto got away. The fastest lap went to Armand Convers (Kosmic / Vortex), in 13th. Jorrit Pex (CRG / Maxter) passed Lavanant to gain 5th position.

The fate of Lavanant was sealed by the mud and he recovered in last. Visser climbed back to 6th place. Wernersson also also went off quite violently on the last lap at the same location as Lavanant. De Conto won the heat ahead of Dreezen, Catt, Pex, Hajek and Visser. 7th was Marco Zanchetta (CKR / TM) who was the fastest in KZ2.
