Stefano Cucco (Birel / Parilla) and Victor Sendin (Tony Kart / Vortex) shared the first row of the KF2 final, with Jacob Nortoft (Birel / BMB) and Pavel Rudakov (Tony Kart / BMB) on the second. Sami Luka (Energy / TM) and Antonio Giovinazzi (PCR / Parilla) were also ready to elbow their way in at the start.

Sendin took the lead while Cucco stayed ahead of a decimated peloton. Sendin was out on his own, setting the fastest lap ahead of Cucco, Rudakov, Luka, Abreu, Giovinazzi and MacLeod. Moller-Madsen and Beer stopped. Luka was leading the hunt for the leader in front of Sam MacLeod (FA Kart / Vortex) and Giovinazzi. MacLeod took 2nd place on lap 4, but Sendin had a 1”15 lead. Giovinazzi took third from Cucco and Luka. The fight in the chasing quartet allowed Sendin to increase his lead to over 2” by mid-race.

Cucco was back in 2nd place after catching Giovinazzi and Luka. Also, Loris Spinelli (Top Kart / Parilla) showed great progress in 6th position, followed by Christian Sorensen (Tony Kart / Vortex). On lap 12, Sendin’s lead decreased suddenly, the TKF driver was noticeably slower in the third sector. He could soon be threatened by Cucco. The contact was established on the 17th of the 20 laps.
