KF2 Qualifying: Klinkby-Silver and Baron in front

This Friday the weather is good at Lonato for Qualfying for the 16th Winter Cup at the South Garda Karting circuit. 76 KF2 drivers finished up in the same second, and the top 12 in the same tenth … The tone is set and the battle will be fierce!

Yet the fastest of all, Leo Roussel, is not top of the list, disqualified due to having the wrong amount of oil in the fuel. This is unfortunate for Sodi but they still have a driver in 2nd with Alex Baron. What a difference from last year! The pole-sitter is Max Klinkby-Silver, a formidable Dane on a Birel / BMB at Team JRP. Third is another Dane, on a factory Tony Kart / Vortex this time, Christian Sorensen.

Petjoi is 4th, Rossel 5th, Giovinazzi 6th, Heinonen 7th, Lahaye 8th, Orudzhev 9th, Sathienthirakul 10th and Albon 11th. Dale, Moller-Madsen and Basz made a combined attack to 15th, 16th and 17th position. Suninen was 22nd ahead of Luka. Sendin is the second fastest French driver in 29th place, Guibbert 33rd, Compere 43rd, Lepesqueux 54th, Pizzitola 57th and Girard 67th. Anthoine Hubert didn’t set a time after a problem.
