The differences are extremely tight in Rotax DD2, while the drivers who come from around the world learned the track and also the equipment for those who don’t race a CRG during the rest of the year.

The Canadian Daniel Morad was awarded pole position with 49 “098, or about eight tenths faster than the Rotax Max karts thanks to their superior power. The Dutchman Roy Geerts, Australian and American Jason Pringle and Troy Castaneda are less than one tenth off the pole-sitter! Once again in this category, the Europeans have a hard time with drivers from other continents who have spent a long time on the plane to Italy.

For France, Damien Vuillaume set the 17th time, just ahead of Dominique Chech, the two drivers progressing with each outing. They are more than two tenths off the best.
