Super KF: Kozlinski wins, Convers is champion

It was a confusing but exciting final for the WSK World Series at Sharm El Sheik. The formation lap caused problems for a surprising number of drivers. Primarily Libor Toman failed to leave the grid, and Zdenek Groman went into the pits, Gary Catt was in trouble and finally Nyck De Vries stopped before the start line. The race director increased the practice laps, but the situation was worsening. The red flag was given on the grounds of the excessive speed of the pole sitter, Kozlinski. Some competitors were able to repair themselves, others were more or less beyond help. They resumed their places for the new start, albeit from the pits. Unfortunately Nyck De Vries was delayed by a spark plug problem …

The race was finally started, and despite the circumstances, it was magnificent. Kozlinski took the lead, followed by Armand Convers. He was in the lead for a moment, feeling no doubt the threat was clear

from De Vries. But Koko was faster and took back his 1st place. As expected, De Vries attacked Convers for 2nd place. Armand also faced Sauro Cesetti and ended up 4th. Cesetti went into second position, but his engine failed shortly thereafter. Meanwhile, Convers regained the lead from De Vries to gain 2nd place. Kozlinski was relaxed in the lead. Another CRG / Maxter began to point his spoiler, Davide Fore in full ascent.

De Vries looked like he would be replaced again when Fore attacked him and Convers. The Italian champion forced his way back to De Vries. Kozlinski won the race, as a climax to the weekend to revive CRG / Maxter. In 2nd, De Vries had his hands up believing he had the Super KF title. He would become disillusioned when the stewards applied the rules and excluded him from the race. Davide Fore rose to the second step of the podium, Armand Convers the 3rd, and won the World Series WSK in the premier class.
