WSK Master Series: final event in Castelletto

Pavia is going to crown the WSK Master Series Champions. The new karting champions for the remaining titles still to be assigned will be crowned at the Circuit 7 Laghi in Castelletto di Branduzzo (Pavia, Italy), the coming weekend from October 7th to 10th. The international series has proved to be the centre of attraction in this final stage of the year with 220 drivers coming from 35 different countries over 4 continents. A region full of lakes gives the name to the sports complex in Castelletto di Branduzzo where apart from a 1256-metre racetrack, it possible to go sportfishing and aquabike.

Marco Zanchetta is closer to KZ2 title with Beitske Visser running after him. Marco Zanchetta (CKR-TM-Dunlop) from Treviso arrives as the winner in the previous round at Valvibrata (TE) and KZ2 title is within his grasp. He will have to counter the attack that Dutch Beitske Visser (Intrepid-TM-Dunlop) and another strong contestant Simone Brenna (TB Kart-TM-Dunlop) from Como will be sure to launch.

Robert Visoiu is chasing KF3 title. Romanian Robert Visoiu (Tony Kart-Vortex-Dunlop) is KF3 leader and is the favourite of a large group of candidates for victory. There are still chances for Giuliano Niceta (RK-BMB-Dunlop) from Palermo that in second place leads a group of pursuers consisting of Danish Nicklas Nielsen (DR-Parilla-Dunlop), Loris Spinelli (Tony Kart-Vortex-Dunlop) from Pescara and Roman Alberto Di Folco (Tony Kart-TM-Dunlop). It won’t be easy to bet onto the final winner seeing the show KF3 boys have put on in the last races.

After Giovinazzi’s win in KF2, it’s chase for the place of honour. In KF2, it is carrying out the race for the podium after Giovinazzi from Taranto has won the title one race beforehand.
