Suninen finishes the heats with no points

This is now the last U18 heat with Teemu Suninen (Maranello) and John Norris (Intrepid) on the front row, followed by Sam Snell (Intrepid) and Alex Baron (Sodi). Suninen took the lead, facing Norris, Tanart Sathienthirakul and Snell (Intrepid) who did not take long to go 3rd. Baron, started on the outside line was only 9th. Jiri Forman (MS Kart) threatenedSnell.

Sathienthirakul took Norris and subsequently rose 2nd place, Forman was able to go ahead of Snell. Suninen had a  2.3” lead and continued to move ahead, witha series of fastest times.

Edward Jones (Maranello), recovered to 6th with Snell in his sights. Positions didn’t change a lot until the finish, except that Forman passed Norris on the last lap. Suninen won his fourth victory which gives him the pole position for the next pre-final. Sathienthirakul was in a fine second place before Forman, Norris and Snell.
