Ocon narrowly wins the KF3 Prefinal

Esteban Ocon (Exprit / Vortex) started ahead of Deguffroy (Tony Kart / Vortex) who easily stayed behind him. Victor Compere (FA Kart / Vortex) took third from Ingrid Girard (Energy / TM). The top 4 were tightly bunched.

Lucile Cypriano passed Thibault Barbé-Flouret for 5th place, while Compere attacked Deguffroy for the second. Ocon took half a length ahead of Compere, threatened by Deguffroy. Barbé-Flouret retook 5th place at the expense of Cypriano. Compere attacked Ocon who resisted.

Esteban Ocon won the prefinal of the French Cup, but the result was more complex since Compere left an unexplained gap at the final corner where Deguffroy attempted to infiltrate, but in vain. 4th by 0.06s was Ingrid Girard, 5th was Flouret-Barbe.
