Leclerc back on the scene

Severin Amweg tried to get to the inside row at the start of the third heat of the Academy Trophy, he did not get a chance. Unsurprisingly, Niklas Tiihonen was in the lead ahead of Anthoine Hubert, Charles Leclerc, Oystein Helgheim and Gabriella Jilkova.

Hubert set the fastest time, stuck to Tiihonen, who always able to close the door. Leclerc, faster than Saturday, was part of the leading trio, while Helgheim followed by a few lengths. Hubert completed a daring overtaking move on Tiihonen who retook him. Leclerc then attacked Hubert, and on the last lap, he attacked the leader, with Hubert in his wake and won the race. Hubert was second, Helgheim 4th, Tiihonen 5th.
