With the Kartcom unofficial intermediate classification, we can get an idea of the situation in U18 in the evening of the first day after 7 heats. Teemu Suninen (Maranello) performed flawlessly which positions him as the category leader, but is followed closely by Jake Dennis (Top Kart). Coincidentally, both drivers currently hold the championship lead, which promises a good fight on Sunday.

Jake Dennis: “I am still 2/10 from Suninen, as during testing. When we were in the same heat, I could not see where he was faster because we were a little rushed at the start and he went ahead. My goal is more than ever the title, I’d be very disappointed to finish second. I hope that Teemu will not drive the race of his life! “

Especially as the following have their place in the battle: John Norris (Intrepid), Matias Köykkä (Maranello), Edward Jones (Maranello), Stefan Riener (Intrepid), and there have been prolonged battles between Maranello and Intrepid, which have proved very close. Kasper Larsen (Haase) has also been impressive in recent races, Andrick Zeen (Sodi) was in a fight for 2nd place in the last heat, and the Emirati Edward Jones is 5th in the classification.

The French have not been able to really shine, the best of them, Vincent Fraïsse (Intrepid) is 12th, just ahead of Alex Baron (Sodi), Leo Roussel (Sodi) 28th, John Barbe (Tecno) 29th and Anthony Micoud (Intrepid) 34th. The next 3 heats are on Sunday morning before the axe falls on the final hierarchy.
