Chris Lock and Jorge Pescador were on the front row and Lock started in the lead, followed by Sami Luka second ahead of Max Klinkby-Silver, Pescador and Laura Koivuluoma. There was a big crash at the hairpin and a number of drivers retired, including Alex Baron and Mikko Pakari. Suninen was 22nd. Klinkby-Silver took control of the race ahead of Lock, Luka and Pescador. But the battle raged and Thomas Jager took the opportunity to go second ahead of Luka.
