Intrepid quartet leads after the heats

Under the hot sun in Belgium, the young drivers aspiring to the European KF3 title have run their last three heats on Sunday morning at Genk. Four Intrepid / TMs have broken away from the pack: the Briton Alexander Albon is head of the standings a fraction in front of his teammate, the Russian Egor Orudshev, 3rd is a Dane, Andreas Hansen and fourth Dutchman Peter Hoevenaars.

Lukas Machunskas, in 5th, is the first non-Intrepid driver and is onTony Kart / Vortex, ahead of the Energy / TM of Dennis Olsen. Robert Visoiu (Tony Kart / Vortex) is in 8th position, Max Verstappen (CRG / Maxter) 12th, Pierre Gasly (Sodi / Parilla) 13th. Julé Erwan (Intrepid / TM) performs a magnificent drive to 18th, Hubert Anthoine (Tony Kart / Vortex) is 25th because of an unfortunate 21st place in his last race.

The list of non-qualifiers includes familiar names like Esteban Ocon, who crashed several times, Nicolas Beer, Callan O’Keefe, Sennan Fielding, Benjamin Gerard, Loris Spinelli …
