Visoiu under the yellow flags

The inner lane led by Max Verstappen (CRG / Maxter) started best for the KF3 final. Robert Visoiu (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Christian Sorensen (Birel / BMB) took advantage of Damiano Fioravanti (Tony Kart / Vortex) who lost ground on the next lap. Roy Johnson (Zanardi / Parilla) took third position. Visoiu attacked Verstappen on lap 5 and took first place. Both drivers were 1.6” ahead of Johnson, followed closely by Fioravanti.

Fioravanti passed Johnson, and the latter fell later to 13th. The duel between Visoiu and Verstappen could have lasted longer and have given a different classification, but the slow procedure was applied after the violent exit from the track of Alexander Toril. The race could not be started again and finishing under the yellow flags: victory went to Visoiu from Verstappen and Fioravanti. Toril did not seem to be injured.
