There was a big crash at the start of the KF2 final in the middle of the pack. Luke Varley (Tony Kart / Vortex) took the lead ahead of Ignazio D’Agosto (Tony Kart / Vortex), Jordan King (Birel / BMB), Chris Lock and Nicolaj Moller-Madsen (Energy / TM). D’Agosto immediately attacked Varley for the lead, Chris Lock (Tony Kart / Vortex) cleverly took 3rd position, but Moller-Madsen stole the place on the next lap.

D’Agosto was leading the race at 9 / 10 ahead of Moller-Madsen, now second, Varley third and Lock 4th. King was fifth, Yu Kanamaru (Tony Kart / Vortex) 6th and David Da Luz (Zanardi / Parilla) 7th. Sébastien Bailly (Kosmic / Vortex) was delayed the start, but was back in 8th position. Also Michelle Gatting (CRG / Maxter) returned to the field in 14th position.

D’Agosto seemed able to manage his advance against Moller-Madsen. Bailly reeled in Da Luz and passed on lap 12. Optimistic, Moller-Madsen attacked D’Agosto suddenly from quite a way back: the two drivers went off the track. D’Agosto got going in 9th, and then retired, Moller-Madsen remained on the sidelines. Lock took the lead, followed by Varley, King, Kanamaru and then Bailly in 5th. Behind the leading trio, the differences became very important among the competitors still on the track.

Victory went to Chris Lock from Luke Varley and Jordan King. 17 out of the 33 parties starters crossed the finish line.
