Thanks to the clipboard on Kartcom, it is easy to get an idea of drivers who are doing well in KZ2 during Saturday heats for the KZ2 European Championship in Varennes.

Yuri Lucati was the hero of the day with 3 wins, however, he is not a dangerous contender for the title since he didn’t score in the first race at Sarno. Meanwhile, what a show he has put on at Varennes!

Mathieu Gaillard holds second place, but has done only two heats, and for potential winners, we must also look toward Yan Pesce and Beitske Visser be the drivers to challenge this weekend. Pesce is still very fast at Varennes and he showed a remarkable fighting spirit in the racing. He is also sixth in the championship and remains a critical edge for Sunday. Visser continued to astonish the pack of boys at her heels. Very fast, it means, despite her young age, playing to win. Daniel Fuchs and Luca Tilloca are also can also challenge during the racing on Sunday.

The championship leader, Paolo De Conto, finished 10th this evening, and he has it under control so far. Simone Brenna advanced a little from his 17th place in the first round, but has recovered well after that. Marcel Jeleniowski can not defend his third in the standings as he is simply not here! Kevin Leijtens, in 9th has not been very convincing and Jan Midrla is a bit inconsistent at the moment.

There is still three heats on Sunday morning before the start of the final races and the title chase tonight is extremely uncertain.
