Despite a severe accident on the slowing-down lap of the Prefinal and an ambulance trip, Mathias Gallepe took the start of the KZ2 final. Abbasse this time was on pole, followed by Pierre Etienne Chaumat, Pierre Ragues and Emilien Grosso. He immediately took third position. Yan Pesce followed in fifth position ahead of Amos Mechoulam.

But things changed fast in the pack. Pesce went 4th, in 7th Gallepe was already past Julien Goupy and Morgan Weber. Abbasse dominated, Grosso set the fastest lap, and in third was Chaumat, Pesce and Gallepe fighting with Goupy, so the race was at least lively. Chaumat retired on the 8th lap with a technical problem. Gallepe went ahead of Goupy, now fighting with Mechoulam. But he gave up, visibly suffering with his ribs. He was fifth, a feat!

Abbasse did not reduce the pace at the top and set the fastest lap. In second, Grosso maintained the pace, but at more than two seconds behind the leader, Pesce did not seem able to join them and watched out for Ragues close behind him. The Goupy / Mechoulam duel continued under the watchful eye of Weber, who took the opportunity to attack Mechoulam and settled in sixth position. Anthony Abbasse won ahead of Emilien Grosso and Yan Pesce.
