The end of season 2010 brought great satisfaction to the CRG Racing Team in the new WSK Euro Series: Jonathan Thonon in KZ1 and Max Verstappen in KF3 won the championship at the end of the last meeting held in Sarno on 4, 5, and 6 June.

A recognised champion and three-time winner of the World Cup, in particular in 2009 on the same circuit, Jonathan Thonon was again the undisputed leader of the 125cc gearbox category and the winning trio composed of driver, CRG chassis and Maxter engine was once again unbeatable in a major international competition. A subtle strategist, Jonathan gradually raised the tone starting in timed qualifying, to reach the maximum during the races, and conquered the pre-final and then the final, thereby concluding brilliantly with a victory in the championship.

The other winner was a very young driver aged 12, a rookie in the KF3 category, who has shown some impressive performances in the WSK Euro Series this season. Max Verstappen can already be considered the revelation of the year. CRG had to face a hard challenge in KF3 with the newly homologated Maxter engines and races have not been easy for young Max in Sarno. However, just like great champions, he gave proof of formidable tenacity, especially when he reached 3rd place in the final, and concluded comfortably in the lead of the championship.

However, CRG also put in a noteworthy performance in Super KF with Arnaud Kozlinski, who regained the lead pack thanks to progress made by Maxter race after race, stirring high hopes for the forthcoming WSK World Series. In KF2, Michelle Gatting suffered the impetuousness of some of her rivals, but that does not diminish at all her excellent performances, or the quality of her equipment. Victory might be around the corner at next international meetings.
