Gasly wins despite Moineault

There were 3 Sodi drivers in the top 4 in this final with Tony Kart in ambush where it would likely get some results from fast drivers starting further back. Everyone got round the first corner without incident. Pierre Gasly (Sodi / Parilla) was followed by Leo Roussel (Sodi / Parilla) and Enzo Marchetti (Sodi / Parilla) while Valentin Moineault (Merlin / Parilla) led Remy Deguffroy (Tony Kart / Vortex). Hubert Anthoine (Tony Kart / Vortex), a potential winner, was 8th.

Roussel gave way to slip to 5th place, Moineault was 3rd, Deguffroy 4th. Moineault almost grew wings, and set the second fastest time with Gasly in line of sight. The three leading drivers closed up and following them were the three TKF teammates. Hubert passed Tirman. Meanwhile, Moineault successfully overtook, leaving Gasly 2nd. We were halfway.

Gasly was stuck behind the diminutive Moineault, and Hubert moved to 4th, with the fastest time of the day. Charles Leclerc (Maranello / Maranello), starting 20th, undid much of his deficit during a flash recovery, and was in 7th place. Gasly tried to attack, but in vain. Hubert now addressed the third placed Marchetti. This was the lap where it started to happen. We were heading towards an exciting end of the race.

On lap 14, Gasly launched an attack and took the lead, he was fastest. There were less than 3 laps to go. Deguffroy stole 4th position from Marchetti. On the last lap, Gasly was watching his mirrors, and won the race in front of Moineault with Hubert ready to break the tie. Deguffroy finished 4th and Marchetti 5th.
