Incredible prefinal in Super KF

Cooper and Convers made up a 100% front row for Kosmic and the start of this eventful Prefinal in Super KF. Soon Cooper was leading followed by Convers, Groman, De Vries and Catt. But it did not last the second lap, now it was Convers, Catt, De Vries, Camponeschi and Cooper. Ardigo was damaged and dropped to 20th position. Catt took the lead on the next lap, with Rowland 4th, De Vries 6th and Kozlinski an incredible 7th!

Catt was now leading Camponeschi ahead of Rowland, De Vries, Kozlinski and Convers. Easy to follow … then on the 5th lap Nyck moved to 1st place, Camponeschi second and Kozlinski 3rd. The positions would perhaps now begin to stabilize. Convers was tempted to take 4th from Rowland, followed by Litchfield, Cesetti, Tiene, Toman and Ardigo.

De Vries escaped, with Koko on his bumper and Camponeschi and Convers approaching. Ardigo overtook someone on almost every lap. Kozlinski passed Camponeschi on lap 9, Convers had done the same on the previous lap. De Vries, Kozlinski, Convers on lap 10, De Vries, Convers, Kozlinski on lap 11. Cesetti took both Rowland and Ardigo.

It was a great victory for Nyck De Vries at 1.5” ahead of Convers. Kozlinski was 3rd, Camponeschi 4th, Cesetti 5th, Ardigo 6th, with the fastest lap. It is time to go drink a beer to recover from the emotions of the mad dash.
