British domination in KF3

Anthoine Hubert, 5th of the French intermediate and 1st classification to PFI.

No rain this morning on the PF International circuit for the last three qualifying heats for KF3. The British drivers dominated and monopolized seven of the top 10 positions in the intermediate classification. Sennan Fiedling (Top Kart / Parilla) kept the lead ahead of Alexander Albon (Intrepid / TM), with 3 wins each. Regularly at the forefront, Roy Johnson (Tony Kart / Parilla) is 3rd and Ben Barnicoat (Tony Kart / TM) 4th. The first French driver, Hubert Anthoine (Tony Kart / Vortex) is in 5th place, Pedro Hiltbrand (Kosmic / Vortex) 8th, Callan O’Keeffe (FA Kart / Vortex), the leader after qualifying, 9th and Pierre Gasly (Sodi / Parilla) was back in the top 10 after several solid results.

Ocon Esteban (Exprit / Vortex) lost places with his penalty and early retirement and found himself 11th. Jake Dennis (Top Kart / Parilla) finished 14th, but was surging. There was a good rise for Remy Deguffroy (Tony Kart / Vortex) in 19th, and some successful races for Julé Erwan (Intrepid / TM) 24th, Bejamin Gerard (CRG / Maxter) 26th, Lucille Cypriano (FA Kart / Vortex) 27th and Leo Roussel (Sodi / Parilla ).

KF3 drivers have thus far been more turbulent than their elders, even if the races are going particularly well on the circuit in Lincolnshire. There is not normally very big issue this afternoon for the final two races with 30 of 34 drivers in contention win their ticket to the European final of Genk in July.
