Beitske Visser displayed again her impressive speed at the opening of the European KZ2 in Sarno. Thanks to an Intrepid/TM already at top performance with an engine prepared by Tec-Sav, the young Dutch girl left nothing to chance when fine tuning the adjustments of her kart. She made up for her lack of experience with her extraordinary determination and a talent in full bloom.
After the second best time in timed qualifying, Beitske was rewarded by several best lap times in race. She is now having less and less problems with the difficult standing starts in KZ, as proven by her victory in the last heat. However, not all the results she would have deserved materialised in the two races on Monday afternoon, mainly because she could not rely on a setup suitable for constantly changing track conditions: wet track that dried fast in race 1 and reduced grip in race 2 on asphalt completely soaked by a previous shower. She preferred to secure her places (11th and 13th) and finished 13th in the championship standings. At the speed with which she makes progress, things are not going to remain as they are.
Next rendezvous will be in Zuera (Spain), for the third round of the WSK Euro Series.
