The French driver Jérémy Iglesias (Intrepid / TM) took pole in KZ1 with 1’03”114 this Saturday morning as the sun bathed the Neapolitan Sarno track for the first meeting of the European Championship 2010. As the team mate to Iglesias, Yannick De Brabander was second fastest, a good performance for an inexperienced driver in KZ and not equipped with a Tec Sav engine. The Belgian beat the defending champion, Bas Lammers, also on Intrepid / TM.

Thomas Mich (Birel / TM) was 4th in front of Ben Hanley (Maranello / Maranello) and Manu Renaudie (PCR / TM). Anthony Abbasse didn’t set a time after an unfortunate crash in the first session. Again entered, Brandon Maisano is at Sarno. Has he ended his career in karting to devote himself to cars? The information should be confirmed soon.
