82 enter Euro KZ2

KZ2 has been full for some time, both in national and international events. The 2010 European Championship is no exception with 82 entered, only slightly less than last year. It starts this weekend at Sarno and will conclude in late June at Varennes sur Allier, two tracks tailored for 125 gearbox. In the absence of the defending champion, Angelo Lombardo, the fight seems very open, with the presence of many competitors for the Italian event at Sarno.

affiche-Sarno.jpgAfter the results from the early season, Paolo De Conto (Energy / TM) is one of the biggest favourites. The German Simon Solgat (Birel / TM) won the Margutti in the rain, a competition in which Massimo Aceto (All Kart / Maxter) and Simone Brenna (TB Kart / TM) also did well. Beitske Visser (Intrepid / TM) should also be watched. Among the outsiders, there is Viktor Oberg (Gillard / Parilla), Andreas Fasberg (AM / Maxter), Marco Zanchetta (DR / Parilla), the Energy / TM drivers Marcel Jeleniowski and Joel Johansson, Dylan Davies (PCR / TM) or Luca Tilloca (CRG / Maxter).

Out of the French, there is Eric Ramon and William Benedetti (Sodi / TM), the Energy driver Yan Pesce, Mathieu Gaillard and Ludovic Lombard, the experienced Cedric Goudant (Tony Kart / TM), Theodore Zammit (PCR / Maxter), Emilien Grosso (Intrepid / TM), Christophe Benoit (Birel / TM) and Quentin Donniaux (GP / TM).
