Catt and Convers shared the victories in the qualifying heats of Super KF at Lonato. Gary Catt (Tony Kart / Vortex) won the fight with 2 wins and one second place, while Armand Convers (Kosmic / Vortex) was still very aggressive on his heels, winning the last race. Nyck De Vries (Zanardi / Parilla) fought with panache, but retired at the very beginning of the 2nd race while he was ahead. The mechanical failures were more numerous as the temperature rose: in the 1st Cesetti then DeVries, Litchfield Tiene in the second round. Nyck came back like a madman in the 3rd heat coming from 28th to 7th but crashed with Vigano on the last lap.

5th in the 1st heat, Davide Fore fell to 14th in the next while Kozlinski came back to 8th and Ardigo 9th. Both drivers gained some places in the 3rd heat: to 6th and 7th. Laura Tillett (Tony Kart / TM) commanded admiration with her combativeness and performance: 9th, 3rd and 5th, what a feat, Miss! Cesetti made a comeback after retiring in round 1: with 13th and 3rd, he is one of the fastest on the track.

In the Intermediate classification, Gary Catt has the lead ahead of Armand Convers. Laura Tillett was rewarded with a brilliant 3rd place ahead of Yannick De Brabander, Flavio Camponeschi, Kozlinski and Davide Fore.
