On the night of the Winter Cup, Sodi Racing Team’s manager provided his personal assessment of the first international round in 2010.

I found Sébastien (Bailly) convincing already in qualifying, where he was really fast”, Nicola De Cola declared. “He is a hard working and reliable guy, animated by his huge determination to do well: he did not want to disappoint the team on his first race with us. Unfortunately, he had a series of small troubles that delayed him several times. Given the level of competition, that was fatal. Pity, because he deserved to have his place in the final.

Pierre (Gasly) did his maximum in KF3: just what we expected from him! He won one heat, was second in another one and finished 9th in the general standings after a nice race. He did a good job. Now he is mature enough to measure up against the best drivers in each race. As for Alex (Baron), it was his real baptism of fire in KF2 at the highest world level after Las Vegas. He was close to Sébastien in terms of pure speed and even gained access right away to the Winter Cup final. Not an easy challenge for a driver who comes from just one year of KF3. He has definitely gained a lot of experience. That’s promising.
