Las Vegas was very sunny, which is not really surprising for a city that has not seen much rain for many years. The temperature is surprisingly mild during the day, like at the end of summer. The teams found the track slightly changed from last year, where rubber is deposited gradually.

In the last long free practice session in Super Pro, Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / TM) set the fastest time, at 41”482 almost 2 tenths from Arnaud Kozlinski (CRG / Maxter) and Norman Nato (Intrepid / TM). Bas Lammers (Intrepid / TM) was 6th in front of Davide Fore (CRG / Maxter) and Gary Catt (Tony Kart / Vortex). Sébsatien Buemi (Intrepid / TM), very studious, was in 10th place ahead of Tony Lavanant (Energy / TM). Michael Schumacher (Tony Kart / Vortex) was out and was running 6 tenths off pole, in 14th position, just in front of Jonathan Thonon and Cyndie Allemann (CRG / Maxter). It is clear that the hierarchy is purely indicative and that some have not used all of their talent.

In KF2, the situation was more complex. The most that can be said is that Felice Tiene (Kosmic / Vortex), Yu Kanumaru (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Brandon Maisano (CRG / Maxter) were among the men on form.

The first official timed practice begin on Friday morning at 9:00 (local) for KF2 and TaG Junior, followed by qualifying heats at 10.40. The Super Pro will start at 12:50 for his warm-up, 13h50 for qualifying for group B and 14h05 for Group A. The 1st heat will take place from 13h35.
