Pascal Belmaaziz (Intrepid / TM) made an impeccable start in the KF3 final in the GPO at Lyon. Hubert Anthoine (Tony Kart / Vortex), being very careful, yielded a handful of places to Tanguy Carel (FA Kart / Vortex), Pierre Gasly (Sodi / Parilla), Nicolas Gonzales (Mirage / TM) and Remy Deguffroy (Tony Kart / Vortex ). There was a skirmish between Simon Tirman (Tony Kart / Vortex), Alex Baron (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Leo Roussel (Sodi / Parilla) who found themselves at the back.

Belmazziz widened the gap by setting several fastest laps. Michael Heche (Intrepid / TM) closed on the frontrunners, Gasly resisted against Gonzales and Baron began to fight in earnest. Deguffroy made a mistake and lost several places. Gonzales quickly passed Gasly. There was a heated battle between Enzo Guibbert (Birel / TM) and Heche in 6th position. On the last lap, Hubert took the opportunity to pass Gonzales. Gasly made a small mistake at the penultimate turn which could have cost him the podium. He crossed the line just ahead of Hubert. Baron finally recovered to 11th position, a good performance nonetheless.

It was an important victory for Intrepid and Belmaaziz, dominating from start to end of the day.
